Earth Day Las Cruces is a celebration of eco-arts, live music, green businesses, dance, environmental research, local foods, and local charities. As always, the event is free to the public and fun for the whole family.
This year’s Earth Day is a pilot project for zero-waste event management in Las Cruces: our goal is to reuse, recycle, or compost every material thing used at the event. All food and drink at the event will be sold in either recyclable containers or compostable containers donated by Whole Foods, and you can help with the zero-waste goal by bringing your own water bottle.
Earth Day Las Cruces 2017 will feature live music and dance, eco-arts, presentations and discussion groups led by local scientists and environmentalists, kids’ activities, and more. The schedule is below.
